At HomeTown Dental our office is a friendly environment that will help you feel immediately relaxed. We have complimentary beverages, Wi-Fi, blankets to keep you comfortable, and TVs in all of our exam rooms. Going to the dentist can be a pleasant experience and we make every effort to provide you with the best standard of treatment.

We also want our patients to be informed about dental problems and treatments, because informed patients make better decisions about their health and well being. Meet Dr. Tom Peters

One of the many reasons I love dentistry is the relationships I build with patients that are based on trust and honesty. I believe the best treatment plan is one that both the patient and dentist formulate together to address each patient’s individual needs. Another part of dentistry I enjoy is using the newest, proven technologies to provide efficient, high-quality dental care. There are many aspects of dentistry I enjoy including crowns, root canals, extractions, dentures, and much more. I will be utilizing continuing education to provide high-quality dental care to our wonderful community.

I was born and raised in Dickinson and graduated from Trinity High School. I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree at North Dakota State University. After NDSU, I went on to graduate with my DMD degree (Same as DDS just different letters) at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR. While attending dental school, I fell in love with my classmate, Bridget, and am lucky enough to now call her my wife. Bridget and I moved to North Dakota and together treat patients at HomeTown Dental. I enjoy hiking with my wife and two very spoiled dogs, fishing for walleyes, hunting, and all the other stereotypical things us North Dakotans love to do.

It is an honor to be back home in Dickinson serving our community’s dental needs and I look forward to working with you.

Meet Dr. Bridget Peters

The best part of being a dentist is connecting with my patients and creating a partnership to care for, improve and restore their oral health. I believe it is important to collaborate with patients to create the best treatment plan to meet to their needs and abilities. I love being a general dentist and enjoy patient education, dentures, extractions, fillings, crowns, roots canals, etc.

I was born and raised in Oregon. I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree at Oregon State University (Go Beavs!) and my DMD degree at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) – where I met Tom and we began our life together. I completed an additional year of training after graduating dental school called a General Practice Residency. During this time I worked as a dentist in the hospital serving adult patients with special health care needs. The following four years I worked as a dentist at the tribal clinic in New Town, ND.

I love traveling, hiking, knitting & crocheting, exercising, cooking, baking and spending time with family and friends. I am so excited to join the wonderful crew at HomeTown Dental starting September 2023. I can’t wait to meet you.
