Endodontics involves saving the tooth because nothing is better than having your natural smile. Root canals are used to treat the soft tissues inside of the tooth to allow the tooth to remain intact and healthy.

When is a root canal necessary?

A root canal procedure involves your dentist or endodontist removing the inflamed or infected pulp inside of the tooth, cleaning and disinfecting it, and finally, sealing the filled tooth to prevent further damage or infection.

Saving your natural tooth is always considered to be a better option than cosmetic options or extraction.
